iPhone 7 black spots on screen assessment
Device incoming is an iPhone 7; jet black in color. In addition the rear camera does not appear to be cracked. Furthermore the incoming charge current is about 1.4 Amps and the battery level on it is approximately about 71 %. It’s hard to see because there is black discoloration over the screen. There is a little bit of spotting in this area. As a result it has fractures over the entire region. Moreover there is little bit of fragmentation in the right upper quadrant. However it should not affect the repair process too much.
The most notable point about this particular device is that the liquid crystal display (LCD) is starting fail. This is evident from the black discoloration and multiple color lines running across the screen indicate that the display is about to fail. Another point to mention is that it looks like the touch sensor is also beginning to fail on it. Most likely this occurred due to multiple drops rather than just one drop.
Sometimes we get one lucky drop during which the device falls face down resulting in the damage we see over here. Customer is a regular that has visited us in the past since 2017. Miss Mushrat serviced the device. In addition Mr. Mukheet serviced the device in 2018, which was just last month. At this point we will go ahead and ask for customers permission to take a look at the internal components of the device by removing the bottom two screws and lifting up the front panel.
