Home Repair Quotes & Status on Water Damage Repairs. More info on Service Master and their report that was sent to my broker explaining the Insane charges. What are your thoughts? Thanks to Complete Restoration & Construction and Gamache Construction for their speedy quotes.
Also, glad to have my broker from Pacific Crest Insurance. My adjuster approved providing a hotel for one week for Loss if Use, thank you!
This was one of emails to my insurance adjuster on Nov 26th
"Morning. I need your help and guidance.
I realized last week that I did not receive a quote from Erin at Service Master before they started.
When I tried getting a quote from her before Thanksgiving, Erin asked me to call Seattle office for the price. I called Seattle but they said Erin had not turned one in. Seattle office was even surprised that Erin did not go over an estimate with me.
When my partner talked to her today, she said she emailed me an "estimate" the day they started. (I saw that email and it's not an estimate for my home, instead it is a list of prices. And a calculation for the machines). I have documented what they have done and what fans were running and not running.
I believe, that I..."we" are being overcharged.
On the 16th, Erin told me not to worry, they would put everything back the way it was.
The problem is, they didn't try to salvage any piece of the home but tore it up and now I find out it would be more than $28,000 for them to "put everything back together"...$11,000 for replacing the cabinets.
My home is left a mess.
Also, Erin told me on the 16th that they would be done drying in 5 days, we are on day 10. They need to adjust prices.
I have asked them to stop and I'll seek other options."
And, here we are. ???? ????
